Over time, all factory JK tailgate hinges will loosen and sag, resulting in a rattling tailgate and making the tailgate harder to close. The poor design of the original factory hinge will cause the steel pin to prematurely wear and sag with the weight of over sized tire and wheel combinations that most JK owners have upgraded to.
Our hinges have longer bronze bushings, a stainless steel hinge pin and a greae fitting, so they'll never rust, sag or rattle.
Installation time of about 30-45 minutes. Requires T50 torx bit and a 13MM socket.
