It must be parade season.     The following saturday after a GR8TOPS was spotted on the Mayors Jeep, we participated in the Irmo Okra Strut Parade.      What in the world is Okra and why would someone even have a festival to celebrate it you ask?.    Well, we are not quite sure either, but here is some some attempt to at least explain this strange obsession with a vegatable.   Okra is a slimey green vegatable grown in the South primarily.      Irmo,SC celebrates the vegatable every year and you can read about the origin of the festival here.



    




The GR8TOPS sublime unlimited was pulling the GR8TOPS project trailgator we use for displays.      We were riding along with the local jeep club and Cooper James can be seen in a couple of pictures just learning to wave to the crowds.
