We never thought there could be a connection to these two things especially here in our local town of Lexington, SC.    The planets aligned properly and we've somehow made the connection last Saturday, Sept 20 here in Lexington, SC.    Mayor Randy Halfacre of Lexington, SC recently took part in the Lexington FunFest parade.    Randy is up for relection this year and had a float in the Funfest parade to support his reelection.   What to your wondering eyes appeared pulling the float other than a 05 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited sporting a GR8TOPS half hardtop conversion.   The jeep was quite spiffy and being driven by the Karson Corley who is a personal friend of the mayor.     We say he could have a new campaign slogan "Halfacre for halftops !"   Check out the Mayors website and campaign information by following this link
