GR8TOPS has partnered with UPS Freight for delivering its hardtops.     Formerly the OVERNITE trucking company, UPS Freight now services the US and Canada with the same great, timely service for shipping our hardtops.  

We prefer to ship to a business address or you can locate the nearest UPS Freight trucking terminal and pick up the skid at the terminal.     If the skid is delivered to a residential address, UPS Freight charges an additional $60 fee for residential deliveries

The day before your hardtop is shipped, you will receive an automated email that contains your UPS Freight PRO tracking number along with an estimated delivery date.    You can track the progress of your shipment using that PRO number by checking on http://ltl.upsfreight.com/or calling 800-333-7400, option 2.    If you wish to search for the nearest UPS freight terminal for terminal pickup near you please check out the UPS freight website at HERE.

We take great care and precautions in packaging and insulating your hardtop for its transit time.   The half hardtops are completely wrapped in a foam bubble wrap, then fully enclosed in a large box banded to a wooden skid pallet. The size of the pallet for the half hardtops is approximately 4' x 5' and weighs approximately 125 lbs.    The skid can easily be unloaded/loaded into the back of a full size pickup truck by two persons.     The CJ-8 Scrambler hardtops are on a skid with a wooden crate built around the outside of it and enclosed in cardboard.    The skid dimensions are approximately 9' x 5' and weighs approximately 350lbs.     The CJ-8 Scrambler skid does require a forklift or at least 3 persons to unload from the truck.

Once you receive your hardtop shipment, PLEASE INSPECT ALL CARTONS BEFORE UNLOADING THEM FROM THE TRUCK.   If significant visible damage is present and the product is damaged beyond use, Refuse the shipment and note the damage on the delivery invoice with your signature.   If there are any punctures or any visible damage that you think might have incurred to the product, please note that when signing for the delivery.     Retain all packing materials until after you have fully installed the hardtop.

All freight amounts are just estimates, and freight rates are very volatile.  All rates subject to change.    Please inquire at the contact us page for a definitive freight quotation.    Freight quotations are only guaranteed for 15 days from the date of the quote and the order must be placed within that 15 days for the same freight rate to be valid.   If the order has not been placed withhin that 15 days, a new freight quote must be generated.

Approximate freight quotes for the half hardtops range from $125 nearest South Carolina to $400 to the west coast.

Approximate freight quotes for the full hardtops range from $250 nearest/east coast to $600 to the west coast.

Bulkhead/cab dividers can be shipped individually via UPS ground with shipping price range approximately $15 to $35 depending on your location in contential US.
